He appeared at the doorway in his usual 007esque manner. Legs spread apart, white long sleeve shirt reflecting a little amount of sunlight, black trousers and his navy blue waist coat not to forget his floral patterned tie. The look on his face was the usual “another failed interview expression”. His bag was to him what James Bond always possessed as a special gadget. The white envelope could be anything. After all, this guy has had plenty of CV’s printed and he received quite a number of rejection letters from merciful firms he applied at. In my already programmed mind I already went “nothing to see here, just a man well dressed returning home without a job,” but his next words would change my mind.
He raised the envelope to the side of his face and in his cough ridden voice he uttered “finally!”
‘Finally’ was just another word that means to bring an end note to something. Except today, context added a little more weight than a regular day.
The walls became narrow, an orchestra of victory strummed up in my sub-conscious and was spiced with a dash of grateful tears. Another day at the doorway but the first one with a new story. Today the commentary was nothing but joy. The relentless pursuit of one so desperate had come to a halt. The stroke of the sun and the consequent sweat from his brows finally culminated into celebration.
The struggle is indeed real so is the victory. There is something about the word ‘finally’ that disrupts the tempo of a pathetic story. That is why I am pleading with you as you read this that you should keep it at the back of your mind to use the word in the most dramatic fashion when you eventually lay hold of that which you have pursued after.
When that day of resounding victory comes, kneel down like a fainting gladiator who triumphed with the last blow his strength could muster. Look to the golden sun that is attempting to set. Hold a sweating bottle of a soft drink in your hand. Take a sip. Look at the bottle again. Now say after me…

FINALLY!!!
Do well to follow this Busymind. Thank you.
